Personal Assist — Terms of Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal use, in accordance with these terms and the rules of the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) from which you obtained it.

You must not:

• •Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the app, except where explicitly permitted by law despite this restriction;
• •Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the app to any third party;
• •Use the app for any unlawful activity, or to store or process content you have no legal right to hold;
• •Attempt to circumvent its security protections, encryption protocols, or interfere with how it functions.

Because your data is kept exclusively on your local phone hardware:

• •You are responsible for backups: Use the app's encrypted export feature regularly. If you lose, damage, or reset your phone without a backup, your data cannot be recovered by anyone.
• •Safeguard your backup passphrase: We cannot recover or reset forgotten passphrases. A backup whose passphrase is lost cannot be opened by anyone, including Alltechzone.
• •Keep a screen lock on your phone: Without a device screen lock, the password vault cannot enforce biometric lock and anyone holding your unlocked device could access it.
• •Irreversible erasure: Executing "Erase everything" permanently removes all on-device data and cannot be undone.

The English Coach is an optional feature powered by third-party artificial intelligence services (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) using an API key you provide:

• •Your use of third-party AI is governed directly between you and that provider. Usage charges are billed directly to your account with them. Alltechzone is not responsible for their availability, pricing, service terms, or data handling.
• •AI outputs can contain errors: Corrections, scores, and grammar feedback are generated by machine learning models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are intended as educational suggestions, not professional editing, legal, or translation services.
• •Do not transmit confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personal data to the Coach that you do not want processed by external AI providers.
• •You are responsible for keeping your API key safe. You can delete it from the app at any time in Settings.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Personal Assist is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted, error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alltechzone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business opportunities, or goodwill arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the app.

This exclusion encompasses data lost due to device damage, loss, or factory reset, a forgotten backup passphrase, executing "Erase everything", or failures in third-party services such as AI APIs or device speech recognition.

Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our aggregate liability to you for all claims under or relating to these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following terms also apply:

• •Parties: This agreement is between you and Alltechzone only, not Apple. Alltechzone is solely responsible for the app and its content.
• •Scope of Licence: Your licence is limited to using the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• •Maintenance & Support: Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support services with respect to the app.
• •Warranty: If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• •Product Claims: Alltechzone, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims.
• •Intellectual Property Claims: In the event of a third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights, Alltechzone, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge.
• •Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and not listed on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted party list.
• •Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
