For WordPress sites we also handle plugin updates, theme changes and PHP modifications. If a platform is limiting what your business needs, we will tell you honestly and explain the options.
Website modification work is quoted to scope after we review your site. You receive a written, itemised quote before any change is made, and all quotes are plus GST. Cost depends on the platform, the number of pages affected, whether design or code changes are needed, and the condition of the existing build. Platform migrations are scoped separately based on the size of the site.
Typical timeframes for website changes are: minor text or image updates, same day or next business day; design modifications, 2 to 5 business days; full redesigns, 5 to 10 business days, depending on scope. Emergency fixes for a site that is down or has been hacked are started immediately, and we keep you updated until it is resolved.
Yes. Taking over a website after a developer has disappeared is a common situation. We will need access to your domain registrar, hosting account and any CMS logins. If you do not have these, we can help you recover access through the registrar and hosting provider, then audit the site and tell you what needs attention first.
